Save the date for the Chamber's premier event of the year and the area's largest gathering of local professionals, the 2019 Holiday Open House, sponsored by Geisinger.

We once again plan to have a guest bartender competition, but with a slight change in format from last year. This time, all of the tips raised by each guest bartender will go to their designated nonprofit, as opposed to all tips going to the winner’s choice last year.The guest bartender that wins by raising the most money will also have an additional donation made to their chosen nonprofit by the Chamber - amount TBD based on event ticket sales!

Online and sponsor registration opens on Sept. 4. A printed invitation will be mailed to all members in early October.

Individual registration costs are:

Member registration (through Nov. 1) - $30
Member registration (Nov. 2-Dec. 5) - $35
Non-members/after Dec. 5/at door - $40

• Opportunity to provide a guest bartender for one (1) hour of the event for charity • Permanent signage at portable bar (provided by Chamber) and opportunity to place pop up/freestanding sign (provided by sponsor) next to bar for assigned hour • Opportunity to place promotional items on special sponsors’ table at event • Promotional recognition in E-Biz, on website and social media • Six (6) tickets to the event ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Holiday Cheer Sponsor Guidelines - Limited to three (3) sponsors, and each can provide a guest bartender at the portable bar for one (1) hour of the event (5-6 p.m., 6-7 p.m. or 7-8 p.m.). Sponsors and times will be assigned first-come, first-serve. - At the end of each hour, all tips for that hour will be collected and counted. New this year - all tips collected by each individual bartender will go to the charity of each sponsor’s choice. - The guest bartender that takes in the most tips will be declared the winner and, also new this year, the Chamber will make an additional donation to the winner’s charity of choice (amount TBA based on event ticket sales) and will coordinate a photo-op of the presentation if logistically possible. - Each charity/nonprofit that each guest bartender is bartending for will be announced prior to and at event. - If desired, more than one member can combine to be a sponsor at this level and/or provide bartender.
