August Business After Hours #1 - Ronald McDonald House of Danville

Description

The Ronald McDonald House of Danville will host the first of two Business After Hours during the month of August which will occur in the middle of the "Share-A-Night, Giving the Gift of Togetherness" Week, which will focus on growing and raising money for this program, which helps RMHD continue fulfilling its mission of providing shelter to families with sick children. Nearly 44% of RMHD's monthly guests cannot afford the suggest donation, but no family is ever turned away. This program sponsors a family or a critically-ill child. RMHD invites its fellow Chamber members to come learn more about this and other programs, tour the House as well as its newly-renovated guest rooms, and meet its staff and volunteers, whose daily work helps keep families with sick children together. Learn about these efforts that help give families with children battling illness a "home away from home" - because healing happens together, and also learn about the numerous volunteer opportunities that are always available at RMHD. A full selection of hors d'oeuvres from Lucy's Kitchen & Catering, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.

This event is also the final opportunity to be entered into a drawing just for attending to have a chance to win:

- An opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch before the Williamsport Crosscutters game on Aug. 22, which is Columbia-Montour Community Night

or

- A live marketing table in the concourse before the game on Aug. 22 to meet potential customers and distribute informational and/or promotional materials about your business or organization

The drawing will be held on Aug. 16 and the winners notified by phone the same day. Good luck to all who attend.
